Our Orca Day Trips include lunch and focus on whale watching (bear watching at select times of the season), with a sea kayak option. Species seen on each trip include sea lions, seals, eagles, humpback whales, sea otters, white-sided dolphins, Dall’s porpoises, colourful waterfowl, and the possibility of seeing bears along remote shorelines. Our landing craft boat offers a unique platform for wildlife viewing, combining a 14′ cabin and a 16′ deck with a 360-degree view of nature. Lunch is included on each trip (dietary considerations are accommodated). 

We focus on core areas where wildlife is visible and abundant, working with a network of folks in the sea kayaking and whale-watching community to provide the best whale experience for our day trips.

Orca Day Trips depart from Port McNeill at 8:30 am, returning at 4:00 pm. We reserve the right to stay out longer if whales are in the area of our basecamp.

We ask that you do not BACK THIS TRIP UP AGAINST OTHER COMMITMENTS FOR ACCOMMODATION OR TRAVEL.
